Cheri is an amazing life coach. If it wasn't for her compassion, patience & wisdom, I'm not sure I would've survived my 1st few months in Recovery... I had a very hard exterior that Cheri saw through and she let me know it was ok to be soft. It was OK to expose my soft underbelly, I didn't need to have my Armour on all the time. She helped me believe in myself when so many were rooting to see me fail... She has forever touched the lives of my children and myself. If She were still Here and able to coach me, I know she could get me to push myself in more productive ways.... Her absence is felt deeply here in OMAK WA...S.A
When I showed up in Cheri's life I was a mess and didn't know if I was coming or going. I was mad, sad, and insecure with myself. I didn't trust anyone or anything and didn't even know how to love the people around me, who cared for me the most. I was just getting out of jail and trying to kick all the bad habits I had picked up along the long path of drugs and crime that I had been traveling. I'm sure I was one of the biggest challenges she faced, but she never gave up on me and she always stood strong and made sure that I knew I was capable of overcoming all these challenges. Everything was happening so fast but Cheri was always there when I needed her the most. I would strongly recommend Cheri as a life coach or q counselor for anyone with life problems whether it be drugs, alcohol, depression, or any other problem in your life that seems to be dragging you down. I am now almost seven years clean and have a management position with Les Schwab. I also have a wife and three kids who I support and love with everything I have. I feel Cheri played a huge part in my success. Thanks again! Seth J.
Cheri helped me get over 3 years clean and sober. By showing me that I can live my life and encouraging me that I can. Setting goals to work towards. She gave me tools to help with anxiety. Which helped me a bit. Some are: breathing techniques. Talking in a big groups by picking 2 people. And the 4 things I see 3 things hear 2 things I feel and 1 thing I smell. Depression: she has helped me by getting up and drinking a cup a coffee and getting ready everyday before 11 am. Making a list of 6 things to do. Looking for one good thing that happened that day. Even on the worse days you can think of at least on good thing. Weekly calls at the begin and texting everyday helped with the depression and staying sober. Anger: the breathing or if that Didn't work taking a walk to calm down too. Arguing/fighting: more of the breathing and if That don't work by just walking away. She's helped me out a lot. It's like I'm a new person. I do still get angry and depress at times But talking with her and working on the tools I have has helped me out a lot. I actually like the person I have turned into more then the old me. There are still a lot more for me to learn and I willing to talk advice and learn new things... E.C.
I have personally benefited from being in classes and seminars that Cheri has presented. Her preparation and presentations are spot on. The knowledge that she has she communicates in a way that any person can understand. If someone has a question or is not completely grasping what Cheri is presenting she will take the time to restate and make sure all present have what they need before proceeding. I look forward to being able to be in a class or seminar that she is presenting again... R.M.
